Mission Statement
The mission of the Somers Intermediate School Library is to promote a love of learning and reading, and to teach information literacy and research skills.
Our school library provides books, periodicals, videos, books on tape/CD, reference materials, and online subscription databases to support the curriculum for grades three through five. The Library has 20 netbooks for student use, all with Internet capability.

Circulation Guidelines
- Students may borrow three books from the library for two weeks
- Students with overdue books may not check out any new materials until late books are returned
- Students will be responsible for purchasing a replacement copy of any lost or damaged book (lost books in good condition may be returned at any time for a refund)
